Rectangle offers simple keyboard shortcuts and snap areas to arrange your open windows. No more drag-and-drop. Push a few keys and you can snap windows into halves, thirds, or quarters, creating a desktop so tidy it would make Marie Kondo cry. 😭👌

There is a new trend in town - and it’s sweeping through our bathrooms 🚿. It's the wave of spending a looong time (longer than usual) in the shower taking care of your hair and scalp. Its turning the humble shower into a salon-like pampering experience. This has to do with the deluge of specialized products that now exist for hair and scalp care 🧴 - cleansers, conditioning masks, scalp serums, scrubs, and bond builders, aimed at addressing specific hair and scalp needs from moisture to growth to damage repair. These products are typically designed for use in the shower, as they work best on wet hair. Buying these products isn't too much of a leap for most, as they're a bit of luxury that doesn't break the bank. It also appears that folks are seeking refuge from stress in their showers. Scalp care is the new skin care 💆🏻‍♀️.

This has lead to the rise of another trend in it wake - stay with me - the Status Showerhead. A splashy umbrella term for Showerheads that aim to make the mundane act of showering 🚿 into an emblem of status and sophistication. But what do these showerheads do? They promise a clean rinse without the harsh chemicals in the water, AND double up as a photogenic accessory for your bathroom selfies. 📸 Basically very fancy take on the cheap filtered showerheads.

There is Jolie, the symbol of style and health, with features in Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, and with the noble goal of becoming a conversation starter at dinner parties 🍽️. But waters are getting crowded, and competitors Canopy and Act+Acre not far behind. Canopy, with its roots in humidifiers, introduced a filtered showerhead that diffuses branded fragrance. Act+Acre, dedicated to scalp care, introduced its own take on the filtered showerhead.

So, maybe its time to roll up that old garden hose and step into a new current of luxury.
